Welcome!
Welcome to my first blog. I am an American art history student living in London. Before this year I had never cooked previously, but British food leaves a little...errr...lacking. A few classes at L'Atelier des Chefs later, I am inspired to begin my journey to rectify this situation. I invite you to come along! This blog is all about making affordable, tasty food with a bit of French flair, exoticism, and presentational panache. It is not just about the right way to cook, but how to avoid those beginners' pitfalls I am sure we will come across together. I begin with some recipes from L'Atelier and the Marie Claire Cookbook.
